Electrical Lead Technician 16D25

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Lead Technician for a critical role within our organization. The successful candidate will manage, lead, and guide the electrical technicians team to ensure that all electrical systems and equipment are installed, maintained, and operated to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The Electrical Lead Technician will be tasked with overseeing complex electrical projects, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively. As an Electrical Lead Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational integrity and safety of all electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electrical technicians to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Coordinate and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical installations and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues and failures promptly.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with health and safety regulations and codes.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors on large electrical projects.
• Maintain accurate records of all electrical work, inspections, and tests conducted.
• Provide training and technical support to junior electrical technicians.
• Recommend improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability of systems.
• Oversee inventory management and replenishment of necessary electrical supplies.
• Respond to emergency situations to mitigate immediate electrical hazards and risks.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• At least five years of experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
• Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams successfully.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong understanding of national and local electrical codes and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• Valid journeyman or master electrician license, depending on state regulations.
