ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

We are headquartered in London, Riyadh, Singapore and Dubai, Cape Town, Cairo & Sydney working throughout the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Our areas of expertise are represented in four core verticals: Building Engineering, Planning and Infrastructure, Strategy and Advisory and Commissioning, Handover and Asset Management.

Job Purpose

• Deliver electrical designs that prioritize safety, durability, and performance, ensuring longevity and operational efficiency.
• Be responsible for the design, coordination and delivery of electrical engineering systems across a diverse portfolio of built environment projects throughout the Middle East.
• Support project delivery from concept design through detailed design, tender and construction stages while ensuring technical excellence, authority compliance and high-quality BIM-enabled delivery.
  
  

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field
• Membership of a professional institution (IET, CIBSE, IEEE or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mechanical Building Services Design.
• Strong knowledge of local UAE / GCC codes and regulations related to Electrical system design.
• Proficiency in design software such as
• Revit and AutoCAD.
• Dialux EVO
• ETAP
• Amtech / Trimble
• Navisworks
  

• Significant experience and advanced competencies.
• Able to work independently on complex tasks.
  
  

• Undertake electrical engineering calculations and system design across all project stages.
• Design and develop:
• LV Power Distribution Systems
• Small Power Systems
• Lighting Systems
• Emergency Lighting Systems
• Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems
• Electrical Containment Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
• UPS Systems
• Standby Power Systems
• ELV Infrastructure Coordination
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and design studies.
• Develop power demand and load assessments.
• Undertake equipment sizing and selection.
• Produce single-line diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  

• Deliver electrical engineering packages in accordance with agreed project programmes.
• Participate in concept, schematic and detailed design development.
• Coordinate project deliverables with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Attend client meetings, workshops and technical reviews.
• Support tender and construction documentation preparation.
• Contribute to successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects.
