ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Role Purpose

To support the design coordination, shop drawing review, and site supervision of electrical systems on Innovo MEP projects, ensuring installations meet client specifications, quality standards, and UAE authority requirements. 

• Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. 
• Coordinate with BIM team for electrical model updates and clash resolution. 
• Supervise electrical installation on site; ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications. 
• Conduct inspection request preparations and coordinate with authority inspectors. 
• Support preparation of DEWA/SEWA/ADDC authority submissions and pre-inspection documentation. 
• Track authority approval status and follow up on outstanding NOCs and approvals. 
• Conduct quality checks on electrical installations; ensure corrective actions are closed out. 
• Enforce HSE requirements for all electrical works on site. 
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and material status reports for the Electrical Team Leader. 
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, NCRs, and close-out actions for assigned work areas.  
• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 

• Minimum 3–5 years of electrical engineering experience in MEP construction 

• Working knowledge of UAE authority requirements (DEWA/SEWA/ADDC) 

• AutoCAD proficiency; Revit knowledge is an advantage
