Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, installing and maintaining electrical control systems, equipment and power distribution in our manufacturing facility.

• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Lead project planning and execution, including modifications and upgrades to existing electrical systems.
• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of electrical schematics, control panel designs and power distribution systems and components to improve plant reliability and performance using CAD software.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve problems effectively.
• Analyze system data and performance metrics to support decision-making and improve system reliability, efficiency and performance.
• Document technical procedures, maintenance activities, and reliability improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all engineering activities.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years electrical experience in an industrial setting
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) HMI development and SCADA systems
• Basic knowledge of reliability engineering principles and maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in technical software tools (e.g., MATLAB, AutoCAD) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities as well as the capability to collaborate with technicians, vendors, contractors and management.
• Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of aluminum rolling mill processes is a plus.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and practices.
