Role Description
Minimum 3 years UAE experience in the electrical engineering field in construction and fitout buildings
Designing and preparing workshop drawings for all electrical drawings (power and lighting)
Designing and preparing workshop drawings for all plumbing drawings (sewage and water supply)
Coordinate the MEP work in the projects with all the other MEP subcontractors (such as fire fighting, fire alarm, plumbing, low current, HVAC, BMS, LPG, etc.)
Distribute the work required on site to the workers and evaluate their performance
Follow up on the progress of work and create working schedules to finish tasks in a time efficient way
Coordinate with other non-MEP engineers and contractors especially on the civil engineering side to prevent any delays or mistake
Dealing with the authorities and handing over of the projects to all the relevant MEP related authorities such as DEWA, Dubai Civil Defense.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Dubai Experience is a must
Experience with AutoCAD or other computer-aided design software
Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations in Dubai
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
DEWA/FEWA/SEWA approved
