Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site electrical Engineer with expertise in Low Voltage Switchgear, VFD (Variable Frequency Drive), PLC/HMI (Programmable Logic Controller/Human Machine Interface) Programming, as well as specialized knowledge in testing equipment used in site for LV switchgear panels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our electrical distribution equipment and automation systems through rigorous quality assurance, testing, and programming practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance (QA):

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including IEC standards.

• Maintain comprehensive records of specifications, quality control tests, and documentation related to the manufacturing process.

• Continuously monitor and improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Evaluate and select reliable suppliers and subcontractors to source high-quality components and materials.

2. Testing and Commissioning:

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing and commissioning protocols for Low Voltage Switchgear, VFDs, PLCs, and HMIs.

• Coordinate and oversee testing and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to established test plans and procedures, including Megger and Hipot testing as required.

• Analyze test data and results to verify product performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with the engineering and automation teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of automation systems.

4. Programming (PLC/HMI/VFD):

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems for automation and control applications.

• Program and configure VFDs for motor control and energy efficiency.

• Collaborate with the automation team to ensure that control systems meet project requirements and functionality.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of quality control checks, test results, and inspection reports.

• Prepare and submit quality-related documentation to regulatory authorities, customers, and internal stakeholders.

• Address customer inquiries and concerns related to product quality, automation systems, and programming.

• Collaborate with sales and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.



Requirements

• Min 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in the low voltage switchgear industry.

• Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming (e.g., Siemens, Schneider) and VFD programming.

• Basic knowledge on Schneider Modbus

• Specialized knowledge in testing equipment in site including megger, secondary testing equipment, Primary injection kit.

• Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficiency in quality control software and tools.
