We are seeking a skilled and certified Electrical Engineer with DEWA approval to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and demonstrate expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems. As a DEWA-approved engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical projects adhere to the regulations and standards set forth by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). Additionally, a collaborative team approach and excellent communication skills are essential to effectively liaise with various stakeholders involved in each project.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the implementation of electrical systems compliant with DEWA standards.
• Conduct site visits to ensure electrical systems are executed as per approved plans.
• Review and approve design drawings and specifications for all electrical installations.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate electrical designs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to ensure projects meet regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential electrical risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor the quality and progress of electrical work on construction sites.
• Ensure that all electrical equipment installations comply with health and safety standards.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and completion timelines.
• Keep informed of the latest developments in electrical engineering technologies and DEWA regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of electrical budgets and project cost estimates.
• Provide training and support to junior engineers and technical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• DEWA approval as an Electrical Engineer is mandatory for this role.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Proven ability to design and implement electrical systems on large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of DEWA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Proficient in using electrical design software and calculation tools.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse project stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
