Electrical Engineer – DEWA-Approved 01D25

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with DEWA approval to join our growing team. This role involves the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in compliance with DEWA standards. You will also be involved in conducting inspections, testing equipment, and ensuring that all electrical installations are safe and efficient. Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the construction of electrical systems that meet DEWA standards.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical and safety codes and standards.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers on construction projects requirements.
• Conduct detailed site inspections and assess existing electrical systems.
• Prepare detailed technical and project documentation for assigned projects.
• Implement engineering techniques and practices to achieve project goals efficiently.
• Coordinate with DEWA to obtain requisite project approvals and permits.
• Manage and resolve any technical issues during the design and implementation phases.
• Maintain and update project reports, logs, and schedules regularly.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Ensure that all electrical systems are safe, reliable, and efficient in operation.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• DEWA-approved certification with proven experience working on DEWA projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations in the UAE.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a focus on practical and innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and project management skills to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in using CAD software and other industry-related design applications.
