Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems tailored for diverse building infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and fellow engineers for integrated solutions.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with local, state, and national regulations and standards.
• Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of electrical system efficiency and performance.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates for electrical engineering projects.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of all electrical systems in projects.
• Evaluate existing buildings' electrical systems for safety, reliability, and performance enhancements.
• Identify and implement energy-saving solutions and technologies to optimize power usage.
• Conduct routine inspections of building electrical systems to prevent and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to maintenance teams as needed.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and material records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in electrical engineering and building technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering for building systems projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards in the industry.
• Proficient in using electrical design software and tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Effective communication skills for interfacing with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility for certification is highly preferred.
