As an Electric Vehicle Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and expanding the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs)within the automotive industry. This dynamic position involves engaging with prospective customers to educate and excite them about the numerous benefits of electric vehicles. Your primary objective will be to generate leads, nurture relationships, and ultimately drive sales growth. You will be responsible for staying abreast of industry trends, maintaining an in-depth understanding of the latest electric vehicle models, and effectively articulating their features and benefits to potential buyers. Successful candidates will possess outstanding communication skills, a passion for sustainability, and a deep understanding of the automotive market dynamics. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of electric vehicles and market trends.
  • Engage with potential customers, understanding their needs and desires in a vehicle.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person presentations on the benefits of electric vehicles.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets set by the sales management team.
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to manage leads and convert them into sales.
  • Engage in follow-up activities to maintain customer relationships post-sale.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and events to promote electric vehicles.
  • Ensure continuous update of knowledge about new technologies and vehicles.
  • Report sales activity and forecasts on a regular basis to management.
  • Provide feedback to the design and production teams regarding customer preferences.
  • Coordinate with the service department to ensure customer satisfaction with purchases.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in automotive sales or similar sales environment is essential.
  • Strong understanding of electric vehicle technology and sustainability principles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Experience working with CRM software to track and manage sales activities.
  • Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays if required by the dealership.
