Key Duties And Responsibilities

Anantara the Palm employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

Strategic & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the EHS Management System across both properties.
• Ensure compliance with UAE legislation, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and ISO 14001 & 45001 standards.
• Lead internal audits, risk assessments, management reviews, and corrective actions.
  
  

• Investigate incidents, manage contractor safety, PTW, PPE, MSDS, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct inspections across operational areas, ensuring food safety, water quality, pool safety, pest control, and safe working practices.
• Deliver safety inductions, emergency drills, first aid, and EHS training while promoting a strong safety culture.
  
  

• Maintain EHS documentation, prepare monthly KPI reports, and support ESG and sustainability initiatives.
• Drive environmental programs focused on reducing energy, water, and waste consumption.
  
  

• Coordinate safety committees and departmental safety representatives.
  
  

• Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR)
• Audit completion and corrective action closure
• Civil Defense and Dubai Municipality compliance
• Mandatory EHS training completion
• Energy, water, and waste reduction targets
