EH227 - Full-Time Nanny - Dubai

Overview

A busy family of four living in Dubai is seeking a full-time, live-in nanny to help care for their two children aged 4 and 5-years. The schedule is to be confirmed but will be 6-days per week, (the sixth day may not always be required but flexibility will be appreciated), and 12-hours per day. The children attend school until 3pm, so there will be some downtime for the candidate during the day.

The candidate will be provided with a private bedroom and bathroom.

The family would prefer that the candidate has an educational background, and can support the childrens overall development alongside typical nanny duties.

The family employs a housekeeper who takes care of the childrens laundry and cleans their bedrooms, but there may be times when the candidate will have this responsibility.

The familys ideal candidate is bubbly, proactive, a self starter, and has a genuine love for working with children.

This role is to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

The role encompasses all childcare responsibilities including,

• Waking the children and preparing them for school - (the candidate may be required to take them to school with the driver)
• Creating an engaging and fun environment- actively play with the children
• Prepare educational activities for the children to help encourage and enable them to reach their milestones - language, letters, numbers, etc.
• Take the children to classes and after school activities
• Travel with the family when required
• Keeping the childrens areas and belongings clean tidy and organized - toys and wardrobes
• Assist with the bath-time routine
• Preparing light snacks and meals for the children when required

• Team oriented - able to work with an involved mother 
• Energetic, engaging, and fun-loving 
• Warm and kind
• Patient with a happy disposition
• Educational background would be preferred
• Professional and educationally focused
• Drivers license isnt required but would be a bonus

Requirements

• Fluent English speaking
• Must hold an EU or British Passport
• Encourage the children and promote their independence and good manners
• Able to travel domestically and internationally
• Ability to swim and supervise children in the pool
• Previous experience with this age group
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized
