EEMC Technical Shop Support Manager

Maintenance Repair and Overall at EEMC, achieving the highest level of standard as per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations and Airworthiness requirements; meeting the company standards in terms of Quality, Turn Around Time and Cost optimization. Special attention is given to subjects related to the capability expansion of EEMC with the introduction of new products and repairs. The use of continuous improvement methods such as but not limited to Kaizen and Lean six sigma is necessary.

In This Role You Will

• Accountable for the technical support function of the entire engine overhaul process and that all activities meet the requirements from OEMs, the airline (CAMO) and the regulatory authorities.
• Manage critical task support of production and operational needs, including but not limited to transcription of customer work scope requirements to EEMC maintenance tasks, induction meeting technical content, technical queries and defect rectification, tooling support or data queries, test data queries or troubleshooting, EER responses, Departure Record creation and process management, and mitigation of work stoppage issues.
• Accountable for the content and definition of relevant task cards with clarity, purpose accurate data & usability while making sure all Human Factor elements are considered for the correct execution of the tasks.
• Drive industrialization projects related to new repairs which include collaboration/coordination between Production, third parties MRO and Manufacturers.
• Lead investigations related to the Internal and External Non-Compliance findings and observations, including Root Cause analysis, proposal of Corrective and Preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain a set of KPIs to drive improvements in the Technical Shop Support Engineering.
• Responsible for the Repair and Overhaul Capability Development of modules which must be aligned with business requirements to ensure organizational growth objectives are met.
• Responsible for the New Product Introduction as per EEMC strategy for expansion.
• Lead and analyse the internal Repairs strategy to maximise the company revenues in collaboration with EK Procurement, allowing a constant and optimised use of the Repair production line.
  
  

Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical / Avionics / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering and/or holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License for 5 years.
• 10+ years of experience in Engineering Technical Services, Repairs / Test of Power Plant and APU equipment, including on job experience in production and at least 8 year of experience in multiple fleet type / aircraft systems.
• Leadership Skills
• Thorough knowledge of latest technical developments and industry trends on respective Systems. Ability to analyse and synthesise the technical information for implementation in cost effective ways. Knowledge in the aviation industry of Airworthiness requirements and regulations, maintenance and design organisation and certification.
• Knowledge of engine maintenance philosophy; Engine / Modules / Nacelles / Powerplant Piece Part Repairs, Contracts, Purchase and Warranty, Engineering Planning and Production.
• Basic financial understanding
• Advanced understanding of the continuous improvements tool to lead high scale transversal projects such as LEAN / Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, 5D methods.
