Job Description

Job Summary

With SARSEF, every Arizona student can discover their potential as a scientist or engineer solving problems big and small. SARSEF uses a comprehensive programming model that supports students, teachers, and families so that students can think critically and solve problems through science and engineering. We couldn’t be successful without impactful programs for high school students.

We are looking for applicants with classroom experience (or experience working with schools through a community organization), appreciation of the scientific research process, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. Classroom management, communication skills, understanding of science and engineering practices, familiarity with the AZ Science Standards, creativity, comfort speaking to different-sized groups, and ability to organize and improve on existing programs are key. The successful candidate should have strong organization skills to take ownership of and initiative in their work. Ability to collaborate with others is a must!
