Job Description

The Ecommerce Specialist role is crucial for managing and optimizing the online sales channels of the company. As an Ecommerce Specialist, you will be responsible for enhancing our e-commerce presence, driving traffic to the site, and converting that traffic into sales. This position demands a thorough understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and excellent analytical capabilities. You will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to implement campaigns, improve user experience on the website, and analyze the performance of our online stores. Your ability to stay abreast of the latest e-commerce trends and technologies will be key in ensuring our online sales efforts are robust and impactful.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to meet sales goals.
  • Analyze website data to optimize the user experience and increase sales conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to launch and manage online advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor competitor activity and develop strategies to counteract market competition.
  • Manage and improve product listings, SEO, and overall website functionality.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure inventory availability and accuracy.
  • Utilize analytics tools to gather insights and craft actionable reports for stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party marketplaces like Amazon and eBay.
  • Oversee the customer service team to elevate query resolution and satisfaction.
  • Ensure the alignment of the e-commerce strategy with business objectives and goals.
  • Research and stay current with emerging e-commerce technologies and trends.
  • Implement and evaluate A/B tests on the website for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an e-commerce or digital marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and content management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams.
  • Experience with SEO, PPC, and other online marketing strategies is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new trends and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
