Overview Of The Role
The Ecommerce Manager is responsible for leading and scaling ecommerce business across different markets, owning performance across web and app channels. Working with a lean team and cross functional stakeholders, the role focuses on trading excellence, customer experience, and digital innovation to grow ecommerce.
What You Will Do
Own and deliver the MENA ecommerce strategy
Achieve ecommerce share of total business
Drive topline growth while protecting margin, ATV, and customer profitability
Lead ecommerce readiness and execution for different markets
Scale best practices from UAE & KSA
Ensure consistency across markets while allowing for local optimization
Lead commercial and customer requirements for the app launch
Drive app adoption, frequency, loyalty integration, and conversion
Partner with global tech teams on roadmap, releases, and optimization
Own online trading calendar, promotions, and mega events
Lead performance marketing, SEO, CRM, and retention programs
Work closely with Buying and Marketing to deliver integrated campaigns
Own the end to end customer journey across web and app
Improve UX, checkout, delivery, and post purchase experience
Partner with Operations and Customer Care to ensure service excellence
Lead and develop a high impact team
Set clear priorities, KPIs, and development plans
Drive a test and learn, data led ecommerce culture
Ownership of ecommerce sales, margin, and marketing spend
Forecasting demand, stock requirements, and campaign performance
Full budget management with strong ROI discipline
Required Skills To Be Successful
Strong commercial and trading mindset
Deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, and CX
Data driven decision maker with strong analytics capability
Proven people leader in lean, fast growing teams
Comfortable working with global and regional stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Digital or similar)
5–8+ years ecommerce experience, ideally in retail
Multi market ecommerce exposure preferred
Experience launching new markets and mobile apps highly desirable
