We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Channel Growth Manager to lead the growth of our categories within our eCommerce business. In this role, you will translate brand, shopper and category ambitions into winning online growth strategies, partnering with customers and internal teams to accelerate category growth and make the eCommerce channel fit for sustainable growth.

How Would You Make An Impact

  • Develop and own the eCommerce category growth strategy across all customers, identifying category, shopper and customer growth opportunities and tailoring recommendations to each platform's shopper and operating model.
  • Develop category growth stories and customer recommendations by translating shopper, category and market insights into actionable opportunities that drive category growth online.
  • Stay ahead of eCommerce, retail media and digital shelf trends, leveraging eCommerce analytics and tools (EPOS, Digital Shelf Analytics and media metrics) to identify performance gaps and recommend actions that accelerate category growth.
  • Co-lead eCommerce Joint Business Plans with key retailers, embedding the right growth drivers into the annual planning cycle and customer activation calendar.
  • Lead periodic eCommerce category reviews with customers, identifying category opportunities, barriers to growth and recommended actions.
  • Monitor the eCommerce flywheel (distribution, digital shelf, availability, share of search, conversion etc), track KPIs and prepare monthly category performance reviews and recommendations.
  • Develop customer-specific assortment, portfolio and digital 4P recommendations to optimize category performance, shopper conversion and sustainable category growth online.
  • Drive a Perfect Store Online standard across content, imagery, availability, ratings & reviews and search visibility.
  • Recommend online promotional mechanics, retail media support and seasonal activation plans to drive profitable growth while enhancing the shopper experience.
  • Customize category campaigns and activations, ensuring content localisation and optimal cross-functional collaboration.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; a Master’s/MBA is an advantage.
  • 3+ years’ experience in eCommerce within FMCG, ideally food or dairy
  • Proven track record of driving category growth within eCommerce across pure-players, omnichannel retailers and quick-commerce through category development, digital shelf excellence, retail media and customer collaboration.
  • Strong command of the digital shelf, retail media and eCommerce analytics – hands-on with DSA, EPOS, media/ROAS metrics and the eCommerce flywheel.
  • Experience leading JBPs and co-developing category and 4P strategy with brand, category and key-account teams.
  • Solid understanding of the UAE/GCC grocery and eCommerce landscape
  • Commercially astute and highly analytical, with the ability to translate data into actionable category and customer recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, test-and-learn digital environment.
