Job Description

The Ecommerce and E-tailers Specialist plays a crucial role in the fast-paced world of online retail. This professional is responsible for devising, implementing, and optimizing ecommerce strategies that enhance the online presence of retail businesses. The role involves a deep understanding of the ecommerce landscape, including various digital marketing techniques, product listing strategies, and customer engagement methods. The specialist must stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in ecommerce to drive growth and achieve sales targets. They will work closely with other departments such as marketing, sales, and IT to ensure seamless operations and consistent branding across all digital channels.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive ecommerce strategies to drive online sales growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create and execute engaging digital marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities for product and market expansion.
  • Manage product listings and ensure accurate, compelling product descriptions and visuals.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators and ecommerce metrics.
  • Work with IT to ensure the ecommerce platform is secure, functional, and user-friendly.
  • Optimize the customer journey from site navigation to checkout to increase conversion rates.
  • Conduct A/B testing and user feedback sessions to improve site usability and functionality.
  • Engage with customers through various digital channels to enhance customer experience and loyalty.
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with industry changes and emerging ecommerce technologies and practices.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party vendors and platforms to expand reach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in ecommerce strategy development and execution.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and online sales funnels.
  • Excellent knowledge of ecommerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate across various departments to drive unified ecommerce efforts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to monitor ecommerce performance metrics.
