Job Purpose

Emirates Online Sales is responsible for applications on Emirates Web & Mobile platforms to support revenue objectives in line with the Emirates Commercial strategy. Our group works across different teams to develop web and mobile channels, products and services to drive ease-of-use, focusing on next generation user interfaces. This is a dynamic area of our business focused on innovation and modernisation of our best in class service!

As E-Commerce Sales Specialist, you will support in the implementation of the direct sales strategy to optimize costs and drive direct channel growth, enhancing Emirates.com initiatives. Collaborate with key departments to implement and improve e-commerce distribution frameworks, supporting the airlines strategic goals across digital platforms.

In this role, you will responsible for

  • Enhance the sales features of Emirates.com to drive incremental revenue growth while optimizing customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyse customer behavior to refine business strategies and achieve targeted online sales performance.
  • Collaborate with all Commercial departments to gather insights on e-commerce development needs, objectives, functionalities, and data requirements, ensuring seamless integration into the overall strategic prioritization.
  • Provide analytical support in identifying and evaluating business opportunities, leveraging commercial analytics and behavioral data to enhance the conversion of airline sales and ancillary services.
  • Facilitate the integration of Emirates Commercial Internet Booking Engine with Skywards, enabling customers to access a wide range of value-added services, including online redemption and miles-plus-cash payment options.
  • Oversee management reporting on internet sales, ensuring accurate tracking and data-driven insights for business optimization.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor research to identify valuable features and opportunities for booking engine enhancements aligned with market demands. Regularly compare pricing between benchmark websites and Emirates.com to identify where fare adjustments are needed.

Qualification

To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification (12+3) in Commercial/Sales with 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience in Commercial in Sales, Research/Analysis
  • Experience in online sales and distribution is essential.
  • Experience in using analytical tools is highly advantageous.

Knwledge/skills

  • Knowledge of distribution practices and regulatory environments as they pertain to the Internet is essential.
