Job Description

The E-Commerce Executive plays a pivotal role in driving the digital sales growth of the organization by optimizing online store operations, enhancing user experience, and managing product listings. This individual is responsible for implementing strategies that increase traffic to online platforms and convert visitors into customers. The E-Commerce Executive works closely with marketing, sales, and technical teams to ensure that the online store aligns with the brand's overall objectives and meets customer expectations. A successful E-Commerce Executive will use data analytics to track performance, identify trends, and develop actionable insights that improve the e-commerce presence. They must have a keen eye for detail, innovative thinking, and the ability to adapt to ever-evolving online retail landscapes.


Responsibilities

  • Manage product listings, descriptions, and imagery on the e-commerce platform.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive web traffic and increase online sales.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze customer feedback and reviews to improve product offerings and website content.
  • Monitor and oversee the e-commerce platform's day-to-day operations and functionalities.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure site traffic, performance, and overall profitability.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve website issues and improve functionality.
  • Conduct regular competitive analyses to ensure the organization’s platform remains relevant.
  • Maintain a secure payment gateway to build customer trust and ensure safe transactions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, product trends, and customer behavior.
  • Ensure the online store's design and appearance align with the brand's visual identity.
  • Support customer service teams in addressing and resolving online shopper concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of current online retail trends and consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics or similar tools.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects within deadlines effectively.
