Job Description

An E-commerce Executive is an integral part of the digital sales team responsible for driving online sales and delivering a great customer experience through various online platforms. This role involves managing the company's e-commerce site, overseeing digital marketing initiatives, and ensuring that product listings are up-to-date and optimally presented to drive sales conversion. The E-commerce Executive works closely with the marketing, sales, and IT teams to enhance the online shopping experience. Additionally, the role requires proficiency in analyzing online sales data, understanding market trends, and implementing effective e-commerce strategies to meet sales targets. Success in this role is measured by the ability to increase traffic, improve conversion rates, and enhance customer satisfaction in a digital environment.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and update online storefronts to ensure accuracy and completeness of product information.

  • Monitor user experience to identify improvements for the e-commerce platform.
  • Ensure website content aligns with company branding and strategy effectively.
  • Collaborate with IT for troubleshooting and enhancements to the online platform.
  • Optimize product listings to maximize visibility and sales performance online.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge in the digital landscape.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockouts on digital shelves.
  • Develop and maintain a seamless checkout process to reduce cart abandonment.
  • Track and report on performance metrics to senior management accurately.
  • Identify and explore new e-commerce opportunities for growth and expansion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce or digital marketing roles is essential.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and web analytics tools is required.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and content management systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations effectively.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a digital environment.
