Job Description
- Fabrication & Assembly: Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal (GI), pre-insulated (PI), and flexible ducts using hand and power tools.
- Installation: Install duct supports, hangers, brackets, dampers, and grilles according to approved engineering shop drawings.
- Sealing & Insulation: Seal duct joints to prevent air leaks and apply insulation to minimize thermal loss.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret HVAC layouts and technical specifications.
- Testing & Maintenance: Assist in commissioning, test installed systems for airflow efficiency, and conduct leak repairs.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to local site safety regulations (e.g., wearing proper PPE) while working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Coordination: Work closely with supervisors, project engineers, and other construction trades to meet project deadlines
Experience:
