Driver

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Driver to join our growing team.

This postion will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material specimens for testing
• Perform tests as directed by customer specifications
• Operate under the supervision of a more senior test technician and/or a Department Manager
• Gather and record test data
• Construct and maintain various test fixtures and other laboratory equipment
• Responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle in accordance with the set schedule, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all passengers throughout the journey
• Ability to navigate efficiently and adhere to company operating policies and procedures
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to function well as part of a team maintaining a positive and proactive attitude to consistently deliver exceptional results
• Perform regular vehicle inspection and maintain a complete vehicle maintenance log
• Pick and drop staff according to set routes
• Perform any other ad hoc jobs as required
  
  

Skills / Qualifications

• Must have completed secondary school education
• UAE light vehicle manual driving license manadatory
• Experience in in-site soil and concrete sampling, as well as in-site testing of both soil and concrete according to international standards, is required
• Ability to prepare samples and perform curing as per standard requirements
• Adherence to laboratory quality practices, including the use of calibrated equipment, accurate documentation, and proper test request procedures
