Driver - Light Duty

Job Description

To safely drive Light vehicles to Transport materials/equipment(s) or passengers (employees) to specified destination in effective time.

Operational

• Drives Light vehicles (Cars , Pick UP) to transport and deliver materials and to drop off employees to required and specified destination(s).
• Maintains radio or telephone contact with base or supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.
• Maintains vehicle log book according to state and federal regulations.
• Keeps record of materials and products transported.
• Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo for transport.
• Cleans, inspects, and services vehicle.
• Obtains customer signature or collects payment for goods delivered and delivery charges.
• Reports any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs.
• Ensure safe driving and follow all road safety and traffic rules.
  
  

• PREFERRED : Valid UAE Driving License ( LVD)
• MINIMUM :
  
  

• Competent in Driving Vehicles.
• Ability to understand Traffic rules and regulation.
  
  

• PREFERRED : Relevant Experience in UAE or Gulf preferred.
• MINIMUM : 3 to 4 years of experience with at least 2 years as Light Vehicle driver.
