JOB DESCRIPTION

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and design documentation in support of engineering and architectural projects. The role ensures that all drawings are developed in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and company requirements while maintaining proper documentation and version control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop detailed technical drawings and layouts based on inputs from engineers, architects, and project teams.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and design requirements to produce accurate drafts.
• Modify and update existing drawings to reflect design changes, revisions, or scope modifications during the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure accurate representation in drawings.
• Participate in project coordination meetings to discuss drafting issues and technical requirements.
• Provide drafting support to project teams during the design and construction phases.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company design guidelines.
• Assist engineers and project teams in resolving design and technical issues during project development.
• Provide support during project implementation to ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions and approved designs.
  
  
  

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related technical field
• Minimum 5–8 years of drafting experience in construction or real estate development projects.
• Experience working with architectural, structural, or MEP drawings in large-scale developments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Understanding of construction drawings and project documentation.
