LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, and goal-driven, individual to join the team as a Donor Care Specialist in Gainesville, FL. This position is responsible for receiving and handling donor-related issues and questions, including but not limited to inbound communication from donors via email, text and phones, and donor recognition.

Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)
Assist donors with issues related to eligibility, customer service, donation experience, donor portal, website, donor store, appointment scheduling, recognition items, etc.
screen inbound communication and connect with appropriate departments
Respond to all inbound communication to provide point of contact for LifeSouth donors.
Contact first time donors post donation to answer questions and schedule future appointments.
Handle urgent donor communication about drive/hours changes after hours
Coordinate donor milestone recognition, including list generating, printing, and mailing
Some travel maybe a requirement for the job
Attendance is a requirement for the job
must have consistent and reliable transportation
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma required
Valid driver’s License required. Must meet and maintain LifeSouth’s driver eligibility requirements
Basic computer skills and experience with computer programs such MS office
Strong Customer Services and active listening skills

LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. We are committed to meeting the blood supply needs of hospitals and their patients by providing the highest quality blood components and services. With more than 45 donor centers, 55 bloodmobiles and 2,000 blood drives a month, our LifeSouth team is dedicated to making sure the blood is there when you or your family is in need.

To provide a safe blood supply that meets or exceeds the needs in each community we serve, and to provide a variety of services in support of ongoing and emerging blood and transfusion related activities.
