The Distribution Lead is a pivotal role within our logistics team, responsible for orchestrating seamless distribution operations to ensure timely delivery and distribution of products to our valued clients. Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with distribution regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to track distribution performance and identify trends.
  • Lead and motivate a team of distribution personnel to achieve operational goals.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocks effectively.
  • Collaborate with IT to integrate systems for streamlined distribution processes.
  • Negotiate contracts with transportation and logistics service providers to reduce costs.
  • Resolve any distribution issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implement and uphold safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Plan and oversee the logistics and transportation of products to various destinations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in distribution or logistics management roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in professional settings.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools is a must.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills for dealing with various vendors and service providers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic and innovative mindset.
