Job Description

A Distribution Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring that a company's products are delivered efficiently and effectively to clients or retail outlets. Positioned at the intersection of operations and logistics, the Distribution Lead oversees the end-to-end management of the distribution process, from receiving goods in the warehouse to ensuring timely dispatch to the designated locations. They are responsible for coordinating with other departments, optimizing distribution networks, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the workforce is aligned with the strategic objectives of the company. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution or logistics management.
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in distribution-related software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with various stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of distribution processes and best practices in logistics.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently.
