Job Description

The Distribution Lead 06N25 position is a crucial role within our logistics and supply chain management team, responsible for overseeing efficient and effective distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes and distribution strategies, ensuring that products are delivered to the right location on time and in a cost-effective manner. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team, as well as coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments. The Distribution Lead will ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, manage distribution budgets, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels. An analytical mindset is essential, as you will be responsible for analyzing distribution data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily distribution operations to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and customers to optimize the distribution network.
  • Lead and motivate a team of distribution staff for optimal performance.
  • Analyze distribution data to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards in all distribution activities.
  • Develop and manage distribution budgets to optimize cost-efficiency.
  • Implement inventory control processes to reduce waste and improve accuracy.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of distribution processes and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT and logistics teams to upgrade distribution systems and tools.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in distribution or supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills are required for the role.
  • Proficient in logistics software and distribution management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in distribution operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
