On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Director of Resort Ambience & Experience to join the resort’s Nightlife Marketing team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Lead the overall ambience strategy across the entire resort, shaping how lighting, music, scent, visuals, and pacing come together to deliver a seamless and elevated guest experience.
• Develop and implement a property-wide Ambience Playbook, defining daypart experiences, sensory standards, and execution frameworks across all venues and public areas.
• Ensure consistent execution of ambience standards through strong collaboration with AVL/Technical, Operations, F&B, Marketing, and Entertainment teams.
• Oversee daily on-floor ambience performance through structured rounds, ensuring lighting, sound, scent, and overall energy align with brand expectations and guest flows.
• Drive continuous improvement using guest feedback, analytics, and performance data to optimize dwell time, guest satisfaction, and commercial outcomes.
• Integrate ambience into programming, activations, and seasonal experiences to enhance storytelling and overall resort demand.
• Curate distinctive, shareable guest moments through signature sensory elements, including music programming, scent identity, and visual experiences.
• Lead training and enablement of operational teams, ensuring clarity on ambience standards and execution across all guest-facing roles.
• Manage budgets, vendor partnerships, and sustainability considerations related to ambience operations and technology.
• Champion a culture of innovation, precision, and guest-centric design across the resort’s experiential ecosystem.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• 8–10+ years of experience in luxury hospitality, nightlife, or large-scale experiential environments, with a focus on guest experience and ambience design.
• Strong understanding of sensory design, dayparting, and guest journey orchestration across multi-venue operations.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical, operational, and creative teams to deliver integrated guest experiences.
• Highly creative with a strong data-driven mindset, capable of translating insights into impactful guest experience improvements.
• Deep understanding of luxury F&B service standards, guest expectations, and experiential dining and entertainment concepts.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with experience managing multiple workstreams and vendors.
• Guest-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-profile luxury environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Design, Marketing, or a related field.
