On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in Spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Director - Floral Operations to join the resort’s Floral team .

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Develop and implement a seasonal floral design strategy aligned with brand aesthetics and guest expectations.
• Oversee the creation of floral arrangements for lobbies, suites, restaurants, spa, and event venues.
• Design bespoke floral concepts for weddings, product launches, and VIP experiences.
• Maintain a calendar of floral and decorative displays for key observance days and resort events
• Lead the daily operations of the floral team, including scheduling, procurement, and inventory management.
• Ensure all floral installations are fresh, visually stunning, and delivered on time.
• Monitor quality control and replace wilted or damaged arrangements promptly
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, F&B, Events, and Guest Services to fulfill floral requests.
• Recruit, train, and mentor florists and floral assistants.
• Conduct performance evaluations and foster a culture of creativity, precision, and service excellence.
• Promote continuous learning in floral trends, sustainability, and design techniques.
• Manage floral budgets and ensure cost-effective sourcing of flowers and materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and international floral suppliers.
• Ensure all floral work is delivered within budget and meets or exceeds guest expectations
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Floral Design, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in floral design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in luxury hospitality.
  
  

Strong portfolio showcasing large-scale floral installations and event work.

• Exceptional creativity and eye for design and details.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in floral design software and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
