You have previously articulated a clear academic vision and taken ownership of its results. You have led visibly and decisively, not from the margins. Your work in learning science is substantive—you have designed operational systems, produced measurable outcomes, and represented that work publicly with confidence. If this describes your career, 2 Hour Learning seeks its Director of Academic Excellence.
2 Hour Learning operates on a model in which students achieve learning outcomes twice as quickly, dedicating just two hours daily. This is made possible through AI-driven tutoring, mastery-based learning pathways, and a departure from traditional classroom methods. Performance data validates the approach. We now require a leader capable of aligning execution across varied school implementations, elevating academic standards across teams, and serving as the authoritative voice for a model rooted in evidence-based learning science.
This position is not conceptual. It is operational and strategic. You will take full ownership of academic execution, establish performance benchmarks, diagnose implementation challenges, and develop leadership teams to deliver tangible results. You will translate the scientific principles underlying our work into consistent operational practice and advocate for the model in high-stakes external forums.
What You Will Be Doing
- Designing academic frameworks that operationalize learning science principles into actionable guidance for curriculum design, motivational architecture, and application functionality.
- Conducting structured academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and measurable progress across all school teams.
- Integrating quantitative data, qualitative interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify high-impact barriers to learning acceleration and recommend targeted interventions.
- Ensuring strategic coherence through continuous planning, structured feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
- Serving as the senior representative of 2 Hour Learning in external forums—including keynote presentations and engagements with Ministries of Education—to influence global discourse on educational transformation.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Engaging in narrow curriculum revisions that do not contribute to broader systemic improvement.
- Producing theoretical research disconnected from measurable student outcomes or operational implementation.
- Transferring accountability for team performance to mid-level managers or external advisors.
- Depending on institutional reputation or conceptual arguments to convince critical audiences.
