We are seeking a Director, Minerals Sales, Middle East to be located Metso Dubai office. This position allows you to make an impact, work in an international environment, and become a key player in our continued success. As the Director, Minerals Sales, Middle East, you will be responsible for driving and developing the capital business with existing and new customers in Middle East. You will be responsible for the sales for minerals equipment, mineral processing solution packages in Middle East.You will also have the opportunity to collaborate globally within the company on product offerings and sales processes. In this position, you will report to VP, Minerals Segment Middle East.
Team you belong to
You will be part of the Middle East Region capital team, leading the sales organization with team members coming from different countries and cultures towards mineral processing customers. You will work closely with Metso Business Areas, Business Lines organizations and other global teams.
What You Do
Responsible for leading the Minerals Sales business and organization in ME region.
Drive the development and implementation of established strategies
Identify opportunities for Products, Projects, new offerings and new territories to attract enquiries and improve market share.
Guide the team for effective proposals/ estimates and commercial negotiations by reviewing projects regularly with team.
Managing complex sales for Minerals business.
Represent the Company in its relationships with major customers, government bodies, professional societies, and similar groups.
Build CXO level connects with big as well as mid-size customers.
Develop customer value and good customer relationships by driving high customer NPS for Middle East region.
Sales of products and equipment towards set goals and strategies
Monitor market trends and actively screen for possible projects within Middle East
Ensure effective cross functional team collaboration across Engineering, Proposals, Projects, Sales & Services for high results.
Manage budgets for the sales area
Drive proactivity and continuous improvements of sales processes
Actively support the development of outstanding customer projects
Collaborate closely with the aftermarket team throughout the sales cycel and post-handover to identify opportunities and drive aftermarket business growith.
Handle customer bid materials and inquiries together with Site/key Account managers
Support the transition of successful sales projects to delivery smoothly and efficiently
Build strong network with global Business Area colleagues annd coordinate with the concerned Business Line on various technical aspects of product/projects.
Travel extensively across Middle East countries for business reasons.
Who You Are
You are primarily a modern leader with experience in customer relations
You are goal-oriented and have a strong desire to contribute to our continued success.
You bring several years of experience as a salesperson, leader in the technology field and as an engineer from the industry.
Good product knowledge in Minerals processing across Crushing, Grinding, Separation, Filtration, Hydrometallurgy and Smelting
Experience in the mining industry or other process industries is considered a merit.
Team leadership for more than 5 people across country / region from different nationalities.
You must be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
