Director Loan Syndication Sales And Distribution Corporate And Investment Banking

Key Result Area
- Develop and maintain investor coverage across regions including Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia to efficiently sell corporate and FI syndicated loan/ trade transactions originated by Mashreqbank in primary as well as secondary markets in Asia

- Work with relevant coverage & IB Origination teams to develop Asia syndicated loan strategy

- Work with origination team to price and structure loan transactions in line with market conditions in consultation with Head Loan Syndication, Sales & Distribution

- Develop and recommend syndication strategy to successfully syndicate loans/ trade loans arranged by Mashreq in Asia

- Prepare underwriting memo and liquidity analysis for any underwritten transactions

- Work on Information pack and undertake bookrunning exercise for syndicated loan transactions arranged by Mashreq

- Continuously engage with counter-parties to provide market knowledge to internal stake holders including providing market checks, pricing trends and update on market appetite for new transactions under discussion

- Work on ideas to develop and improve digitalization of loan and trade distribution platform

The candidate must possess:
- Strong multi-product investment banking expertise with exposure to syndicated loan transactions amongst others
- A good communicator with relationship development bent of mind, developed presentation skills while being an effective team-player.
- Strong credit skills and a good blend of domestic and international market knowledge with investor coverage network in core markets Mashreq operates in.
- Exposure to a good blend of domestic and international market knowledge on loan syndication deals

- A proactive and energetic personality with the ability and desire to multi-task
- The candidate to have a minimum of 10-12 years’ experience spent with one or better known regional or global institution involved in similar nature of business
