Job Description
The Director, Human Resources will strategically lead all HR functions to support the organizations real estate development goals, partnering directly with the CEO to drive talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development across the company. This role is crucial for fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws.
Job Role and Responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute the overall HR strategy and operational plan in alignment with the company’s business objectives and growth trajectory.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on all people-related matters, including organizational design, change management, and succession planning.
Lead the talent acquisition process for key roles within the real estate development lifecycle (e.g., project management, engineering, finance, sales).
Design and implement a robust performance management system that links employee goals to organizational performance and drives accountability.
Oversee the development and delivery of comprehensive training and development programs to enhance employee competencies and career progression.
Manage the companys compensation and benefits structure, ensuring internal equity, market competitiveness, and compliance with UAE regulations.
Champion the employee relations and engagement strategy, handling complex employee issues, disciplinary actions, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Ensure full compliance with all UAE labour laws, free zone regulations (if applicable), and industry standards for health, safety, and employee welfare.
Oversee the HR budget and manage the HR technology (HRIS) to ensure efficient and effective delivery of all HR services.
Develop and implement workforce planning and succession strategies to mitigate business risk and build a pipeline of future leaders.
Key Skills and Qualifications Required:
Must have a Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.
Must hold professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHRi, or CIPD is highly preferred.
Must have a minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the Real Estate or Construction industry.
Extensive, practical knowledge of UAE labour law and best practices in the MENA region.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate business goals into HR initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effectively partnering with and advising the CEO and senior leadership.
