Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
About The Position
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Director of Facilities - External Program to join the resort’s Facilities CSA Management team.
Responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
Define operational skill requirements and individual job scopes and recruit respective teams
Compile and draft operating procedures, PPM and CBM maintenance tasks and schedules for implementation and capture into a CAFM/BIM platform
Set up, procure and equip respective departments, workshops and teams
Compile and draft outsourced contract scopes, RFPs and BID documents and procure outsourced services in conjunction with Contracts Director
Define and compile training materials and rollout target training for recruits, conduct skills assessments and identify additional training needs
Establish operational, maintenance, repair and installation work policy and procedures for associated Building Facilities systems, equipment, MEP plant and appliances.
Recruit, hire, develop and mentor the Building Facilities engineering team to provide service standards and technical attributes commeasuring with delivering five-star guest services.
Strategic Leadership & Governance
Define and implement the operating model for all external facilities
Establish governance across asset performance, lifecycle, and maintenance
Act as executive owner of performance, risk, and compliance
Responsible for quality assurance of construction handover pertaining to MEPF functional validation ensure optimal operations, fabric and finishes fit out. Confirmation of functionality, and maintainability and ensure repair and replacement is practical and achievable.

About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Minimum 10 years in construction and / or facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing external programs.
Bachelor’s degree in construction, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
Strategic planning, vendor management, compliance oversight, budgeting, and leadership.
Proficient in CAFM systems, MS Office, and project management tools.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
Strong communication for collaborating with and supporting team members and reporting findings.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.
Physically fit and comfortable working in active or outdoor, humid environments.
Proactive and responsive to operational needs.
Positive attitude with a commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a 24/7 resort environment.
Commitment to safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
