About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Director Facilities External Program - Wynn Oasis to join the resort’s Wynn Oasis Engineering team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • The Logistics Centre, containing spare parts for all areas of the hotel plus upholstery and carpentry workshop.
  • Spine Road which accesses the hotel on Al Marjan Island for VIP guests.
  • Planned preventative and reactive maintenance of the 4,000 staff rooms plus Community Centre at Oasis Campus.
  • Internal and external maintenance of the Logistics Centre Warehouse building.
  • Civil works, finishes and roofing to all plant rooms and external buildings.
  • Security Gatehouses.
  • Street furniture.
  • External staircases.
  • Oversee replacement of damaged hardscaping.
  • Lead planning, execution, and evaluation of external facilities programs.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers, ensuring performance and compliance.
  • Ensure all external programs adhere to local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies and meet with statutory compliance.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for external facilities operations.
  • Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to align program objectives.
  • Company and Department Responsibilities including scheduling of shift patterns.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years in construction and / or facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing external programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • PMP, FM certifications, or equivalent credentials are desirable.
  • Strategic planning, vendor management, compliance oversight, budgeting, and leadership.
  • Proficient in CAFM systems, MS Office, and project management tools.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication for collaborating with and supporting team members and reporting findings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
