Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.
About The Position
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Director of Entertainment Marketing to join the resort’s Marketing team.
Responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are
Marketing Strategy
Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing plan with an emphasis on social media, working in partnership with the social team to leverage platforms, influencers, and community engagement to amplify awareness, spark cultural conversations, and drive ticket sales pre-launch, and throughout the run. Integrate digital, print, PR, OOH, and partnership activations to drive cultural conversations across the UAE and the wider hospitality industry
Brand Management and Storytelling
Shape and maintain the visual identity and tone of voice for the production across all platforms, ensuring all marketing activities reflect the brand values and elevated guest experience
Craft compelling brand stories and narratives that emotionally resonate with diverse audiences, enhancing cultural relevance and affinity
Content and Social Media Management
Work with social and creative teams to develop compelling storytelling and content across digital and social platforms, behind-the-scenes footage, cast features, and fan engagement assets
Partner with the social team to review day-to-day social media content calendars, engagement strategies and performance tracking to build vibrant communities and increase brand visibility
Digital Marketing
Collaborate with the digital team on paid advertising, SEO/SEM, email marketing, CRM and website content to develop exclusive offers
Guest Touchpoints
Ensure consistent messaging across all guest interactions, including website, apps, F&B ordering systems, and pre-show communications
Partnership & Stakeholder Management
Build, nurture, and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders, external partners, agencies, and media to unlock opportunities for collaboration and amplify marketing reach
Act as a trusted liaison between internal teams (digital, PR, sales, F&B, box office) and executive/artistic leadership to ensure alignment and integration of strategies
Problem-Solving & Agility
Demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset by proactively identifying challenges, anticipating risks, and developing creative strategies to maintain momentum and meet ambitious goals
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications
Over 8 years of experience in marketing roles within performing arts or live entertainment
Experience in liaison and communication with cross-functional teams including digital, PR, F&B, sales and box office
Strong expertise in storytelling, social content strategy, and brand narrative development
Demonstrated success in partnership and stakeholder management, delivering collaborative outcomes
Creative thinker with a sharp eye for brand aesthetic, igniting cultural conversations and resonating with discerning audiences
Familiar with ticketing solutions (e.g. Ticketmaster or ticketing equivalent)
Demonstrated success in revenue growth through ticket sales and subscriptions
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Passion for the arts, culture, and live performance
Experience launching new theatrical or touring productions is a plus
