Job Summary
This role is pivotal to driving the expansion and success of the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) business focused on the MENAP (Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan) region. The successful candidate will engage actively in facilitating business growth by collaborating across multiple geographies and internal teams, keeping abreast of dynamic market changes, and contributing substantively to the creation and dissemination of high-impact pitch materials. They will play an integral role in originating, structuring, and executing client opportunities, ensuring alignment with the groups strategic objectives to leverage the banks extensive footprint and reinforce our franchise presence.
Key responsibilities include preparing and updating marketing and origination collateral, fostering seamless communication between Capital Markets, Global Banking, and other critical functions including Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams. The individual will be expected to support deal origination activities, client relationship management, and pipeline monitoring, while maintaining rigorous compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can navigate complex transactions and contribute to securing internal approvals throughout the transaction lifecycle, strengthening the DCM MENAP pipeline and client engagement.

- Develop comprehensive analyses, client pitch decks, and innovative transaction ideas targeted at MENAP regional clients, ensuring high quality and strategic relevance.
- Collaborate closely with external partners and internal teams to facilitate smooth execution of transactions and structured finance programs, maintaining timely delivery and adherence to bank standards.
- Manage all administrative requirements related to internal risk assessments and compliance protocols associated with new and ongoing transactions, ensuring no regulatory gaps.
- Conduct detailed pre-screening of deals to identify viable MENAP bond issuance opportunities, facilitating informed decision-making and pipeline development.
- Drive proactive engagement with clients and manage deal origination efforts, strengthening long-term client relationships and business growth.
- Maintain continuous communication and alignment with all internal stakeholders involved in deal execution and client servicing to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Oversee the comprehensive internal approval process for all transactions, guaranteeing full compliance with institutional policies and regulatory mandates.
- Produce and finalize all transaction checklists, confirming that every procedural and contractual precedent is fulfilled prior to deal closure.
- Support post-execution activities with ongoing monitoring, performance review, and client support to enhance satisfaction and identify further opportunities.

- Act as a collaborative and communicative member within the broader Capital Markets, Global Banking, and Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) teams, fostering a cohesive work environment.
- Enhance internal stakeholder knowledge through training and communication initiatives that broaden understanding of DCM product suites and market developments.

The ideal candidate is adept at harnessing advanced application and PC skills to develop sophisticated financial models, pitch materials, and client presentations using tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant financial software.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as the role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients to originate and execute complex transactions. A deep understanding of governance frameworks and compliance requirements is critical; the candidate must be comfortable managing internal controls, approvals, and supporting regulatory compliance throughout deal lifecycles.
