Digital Transformation Intern Finance Automation

Job Description Summary

The IT Intern – Financial Process Automation & Analytics Support will support the acceleration of automation initiatives within the Finance function, with a focus on improving process efficiency, reporting, and operational visibility through Artificial Intelligence and Power BI. This role will contribute to the coordination, analysis, and delivery of automation and analytics solutions that enhance financial process execution and decision-making.

• Support the identification, analysis, and automation of Finance processes using AMP and related digital tools.
  
  
• Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
  
  
• Collaborate with Finance and IT stakeholders to gather business requirements and document current and future-state processes.
  
  
• Support project planning, tracking, and execution activities across multiple automation initiatives.
  
  
• Maintain project documentation, action logs, status updates, and meeting follow-ups.
  
  
• Help identify risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation needs to support on-time delivery.
  
  
• Contribute to process improvement activities through data analysis, workflow mapping, and documentation.
  
  
• Prepare presentation materials and progress updates for stakeholders and leadership.
  
  
• Support change adoption efforts through clear communication and documentation.
  
  
• Perform additional duties as assigned in support of digital transformation and finance automation initiatives.
  
  

• Students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Data Analysis, Data Science, Artificial intelligence, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, or/ and Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  
  
• Max 2 years of project-based, internship, training, or/and work experience.
  
  
• Strong interest in financial process automation, analytics, and digital transformation.
  
  
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Power BI; familiarity with Artificial Intelligence automation tools is an advantage.
  
  
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  
  
• Based in the United Arab Emirates and eligible to participate in an internship program.
  
  

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and interest in project coordination or project management.
  
  
• Basic understanding of data modeling, SQL, or reporting concepts.
  
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
  
• Experience with process documentation, dashboard development, or workflow automation.
  
  
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within deadlines.
  
  
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
