The role is located in Dubai, or Abu Dhbai.

You will be responsible for the growth of the ABB Ability Powertrain portfolio of solutions across a diverse range of industries. You will partner with customers and partners in established sectors such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Power, F&B, Water, Chemicals, as well as high-growth sectors like Data Centers and other mission critical sectors.

We are looking for a proven B2B sales professional with experience selling enterprise SaaS, cloud, or digital solutions and a strong track record of delivering commercial results. Background in industrial markets, such as Manufacturing, Energy, Chemicals, or other asset-intensive industries is highly desirable. You have a strategic, customer-centered mindset and have consistently built new business opportunities, maintained a healthy pipeline, and navigated complex consultative sales processes.

• Customer-centric and consultative sales professional with the ability to understand customer challenges, identify market opportunities, and develop tailored solutions that deliver measurable business value
• Demonstrate resilience, drive and accountability in reaching sales objectives
• Effective relationship builder with confidence engaging C-Level stakeholders
• Collaborative approach, working seamlessly with Marketing, Customer Success, Portfolio Management, and R&D teams
  
  

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Own and execute a structured outbound sales activity to build a pipeline
• Run full-cycle sales: discovery, qualification, product demos, proposals, and closing
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline with consistent activity metrics
• Develop account expansion strategies for target industries and global key and strategic accounts
• Collaborating with local Sales Units, Global sales, Operations, and Marketing to optimize funnel performance
• Build a culture of ownership, curiosity, operational rigor, and user-first thinking
• Develop accurate business forecasts and establish sales targets for the territory and sales team so quarterly and annual goals are met
• Develop, implement, and evaluate sales processes and tools, and apply a structured approach to selling software solutions
• Build and maintain key customer and account relationships and lead strategic business development initiatives
• Proactively identify and remove barriers to successful execution
• Work with ABB teams to make sure we make the right priorities
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Around 6 years of enterprise in SaaS or Digital solutions selling experience with a deep understanding of B2B operations
• Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and align cross-functional teams and stakeholders outside direct reporting lines
• Knowledgeable in the digital IT/OT environments
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or information systems, or relevant experience. MBA is highly desirable
• Proven track record of delivering results as part of a larger sales team
• Executive presentation skills with a background calling on C-level decision makers
