Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our remote marketing team.

This entry-level position focuses on supporting digital marketing campaigns, managing online content, coordinating social media activities, maintaining marketing databases, tracking campaign performance, and assisting with email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and digital advertising.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about digital marketing, comfortable using online platforms, communicates effectively, and enjoys combining creativity with data-driven tasks.

Previous professional digital marketing experience is not required. Training, mentorship, and ongoing guidance will be provided. Recent graduates, career changers, self-taught marketers, and candidates seeking their first remote marketing opportunity are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Campaign Support

  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Support marketing activities across websites, search engines, email, and social media platforms.
  • Maintain campaign calendars, schedules, and tracking documents.
  • Prepare and organize campaign materials and digital assets.
  • Update campaign information in approved marketing platforms.
  • Monitor campaign progress and assigned tasks.

Social Media Marketing

  • Assist with managing company social media accounts and content schedules.

Content Marketing & Website Support

  • Assist with preparing and updating website content, blog posts, and promotional materials.

  • Upload approved content to website or content-management systems.
  • Organize images, graphics, videos, and other marketing assets.
  • Support content calendars and publishing schedules.
  • Assist with basic keyword research and content optimization.
  • Maintain accurate records of published and scheduled content.
  • Coordinate content updates with designers, writers, and other team members.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Assist with basic keyword research and SEO-related tasks.
  • Update page titles, descriptions, headings, and content under supervision.
  • Support website content optimization using established SEO guidelines.
  • Identify broken links, missing information, or formatting issues.
  • Assist with monitoring website traffic and search performance.
  • Maintain keyword lists, SEO trackers, and optimization records.
  • Learn and apply basic on-page SEO practices.
  • Support routine SEO reporting and documentation.

Email Marketing Support

  • Assist with preparing and scheduling approved email marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain email contact lists and marketing databases.
  • Update subscriber information and communication preferences.
  • Support email template formatting and content preparation.
  • Review email content for accuracy before scheduling.
  • Track basic campaign metrics such as opens, clicks, and engagement.
  • Organize campaign results and reporting spreadsheets.
  • Follow applicable privacy, consent, and email marketing procedures.

Digital Advertising Support

  • Assist with routine administrative tasks related to digital advertising campaigns.
  • Support campaign setup and updates under supervision.
  • Organize approved advertising copy, images, and creative assets.
  • Maintain advertising schedules, budgets, and tracking documents.
  • Monitor basic campaign performance indicators.
  • Help prepare advertising performance summaries.
  • Coordinate advertising requests with the marketing team.
  • Follow established advertising platform and company guidelines.

Marketing Data & Analytics

  • Enter and update marketing information in spreadsheets, CRM systems, and reporting platforms.
  • Track campaign performance, website activity, and social media engagement.
  • Maintain accurate marketing databases and contact records.
  • Assist with preparing routine marketing reports and dashboards.
  • Organize data related to leads, conversions, traffic, and engagement.
  • Identify missing or inconsistent marketing information.
  • Support basic data analysis and performance comparisons.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of marketing activities.

Marketing Administration & Coordination

  • Provide administrative support to the digital marketing team.
  • Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports, calendars, and trackers.
  • Organize digital marketing files and shared resources.
  • Track assigned tasks, deadlines, and project updates.
  • Assist with email correspondence and internal coordination.
  • Route marketing requests and information to appropriate team members.
  • Maintain organized campaign documentation and records.
  • Support additional marketing activities as assigned.

Remote Team Collaboration

  • Communicate professionally through email, chat, and virtual meetings.
  • Collaborate with marketing specialists, designers, content creators, and other departments.
  • Participate in virtual meetings, onboarding, training, and coaching.
  • Provide regular updates on assigned marketing tasks.
  • Request clarification when instructions or campaign requirements are incomplete.
  • Apply feedback to improve marketing materials and processes.
  • Maintain dependable communication during scheduled working hours.
  • Work independently while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications
