As part of Al-Futtaim Automotive, you will be at the forefront of this transformation in the UAE. The Diagnostic Technician will diagnose and repair increasingly complex vehicles, ensuring issues are resolved correctly the first time. The role requires current technical knowledge, strong analytical ability, and clear communication with workshop colleagues and customers.
  
  

What You Will Do:

• Diagnose vehicle faults and complete repairs accurately.
• Support technicians with diagnostic and repair procedures.
• Minimize repeat repairs through high-quality workmanship.
• Explain completed and required work clearly to service advisors, supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
• Recommend improvements to tools, equipment, work methods, and the workshop environment.
• Identify training needs and maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Assist spare-parts colleagues with correct parts identification.
• Contribute to technician productivity, utilization, and efficiency.
  
  

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a reputable workshop in a similar role.
• Strong automotive diagnostic and technical skills.
• Effective verbal communication and teamwork.
• Customer-focused and analytical approach.
• Integrity, perseverance, assertiveness, and attention to follow-up.
• Strong planning, organisation, and task-management skills.
  
  

About The Team:

• You will join the Aftersales Department in the UAE and report to the Workshop Supervisor and work closely with technicians, foremen, service advisors, customers, and spare-parts colleagues to deliver efficient, high-quality vehicle repairs.
