Development Miners - Expression Of Interest

We are accepting Expressions of Interest from experienced Jumbo Operators and Bolter Operators who are interested in future underground development opportunities in British Columbia. This Expression of Interest is intended to build a talent pool to support upcoming operational and project-based needs across the province.

Potential Responsibilities

Jumbo Operators may be responsible for operating development jumbos, completing mark-ups and drill set-ups, performing pre-operational inspections, and maintaining safe working areas underground.

Bolter Operators may be responsible for installing ground support using mechanized bolting equipment, installing mesh and bolts, assessing ground conditions, and supporting development cycles. Bolting off of a scissor deck or jackleg/stoper experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Underground experience as a Jumbo Operator and/or Bolter Operator (Development Miners)
• Experience in hard-rock underground or underground construction environments
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with BC regulations
• Experience installing underground services is considered an asset
• Physical ability to perform underground work
• Eligibility to work in Canada
