Responsibilities

• Translate conceptual design ideas into feasible and market-ready footwear products.
• Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align design concepts with branding.
• Conduct extensive trend research to ensure new designs are fashion-forward and innovative.
• Develop detailed design specifications and technical drawings for production reference.
• Oversee the creation of prototypes and participate in the testing of footwear samples.
• Evaluate materials and durability specifications to enhance product quality and functionality.
• Present design concepts and collections to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Adapt design strategies based on consumer feedback and market analytics insights.
• Stay informed on emerging design technologies and incorporate them into the design process.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and company sustainability guidelines.
• Manage design projects from inception through to manufacturing and product launch.
• Maintain a comprehensive portfolio of design projects and update it regularly with new work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in footwear or fashion design industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and fashion-forward footwear designs.
• Proficiency in CAD programs and other design software such as Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting designs and concepts effectively.
• Strong understanding of production processes and material properties for footwear.
