A Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry serving Conrad Dubai is always working on behalf of our Guests and in collaboration with other Team Members. This role supports the Pastry leadership team in delivering consistent, high-quality pastry products while maintaining Hilton standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence.

What will I be doing?

As a Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Prepare and present pastry items to Hilton and Conrad Dubai quality standards
  • Assist in supervising and guiding Commis Chefs and junior team members
  • Ensure all mise-en-place is prepared accurately for relevant menus
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety, ensuring no cross-contamination
  • Ensure all food items are of good quality and stored correctly
  • Assist in responding positively to guest feedback and operational requirements
  • Support food cost control through portion control and waste reduction
  • Maintain effective working relationships across kitchen and hotel departments
  • Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in training Team Members in line with company procedures
  • Report maintenance, hygiene, and safety issues in a timely manner
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health, safety, and food safety legislation
  • Demonstrate environmental awareness and sustainable kitchen practices


What are we looking for?

A Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry serving Conrad Dubai will demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Previous experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably within a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong knowledge of pastry preparation and food hygiene standards
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced operation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of quality and consistency
  • Flexible approach to work schedules and operational needs


It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Previous experience in the hotel industry in luxury segment
  • Fine Dining experience
  • Knowledge of current food trends
