Demand Planning Specialist - Food Service - Dubai

Are you looking for an opportunity where you can manage, develop, challenge, and optimize the demand planning process? If yes, you could be our new Demand Planning Specialist, based in our UAE office and will report to the Head of Food Service UAE. As the new Demand Planning specialist you will develops/update forecasts across the S&OP horizon, working in partnership with Sales, Marketing and other Planning functions.

How Would You Make An Impact In This Role

• Develop demand forecasts across the S&OP horizon in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Planning, and key customers
• Create statistical forecasts by analyzing historical sales data and future order trends
• Leverage available planning tools and technology to enhance forecast accuracy
• Lead the creation of short- and long-term forecasts through cross-functional alignment with Channel Category teams and customers
• Analyze relevant data sources to generate insights and improve future demand planning
• Evaluate sales data to forecast promotions, special events, cannibalization impacts, and seasonal trends
• Deliver validated forecasts to Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Marketing, and Global Planning teams as a foundation for S&OP processes
• Drive continuous improvement of demand planning processes and systems
• Monitor KPIs and forecasting performance, taking corrective actions to improve accuracy
• Set and optimize forecasting models and parameters to enhance overall planning effectiveness
  
  

What Will Make You Successful

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Power BI and forecasting systems like SAP
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
