Demand Planner

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to forecast product demand accurately and support inventory, production, and supply chain planning. The role plays a critical part in balancing product availability, stock levels, and business growth while minimizing waste and shortages.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align forecasts with promotions, launches, and seasonal plans
• Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning models
• Prepare demand plans at SKU, category, and channel levels
• Analyze sales performance, trends, and variances against forecasts
• Support inventory planning to optimize stock levels and reduce excess or obsolete inventory
• Participate in S&OP meetings and provide insights to support decision-making
• Maintain demand planning tools, data integrity, and reporting dashboards
• Identify risks and opportunities in demand fluctuations and propose mitigation plans
• Provide regular forecasts and performance reports to management

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting, preferably within FMCG or retail
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience with demand planning tools or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDA, Anaplan, etc.)
• Solid understanding of S&OP processes and inventory management
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
