The IT Project Manager would play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of Qashios technology projects. This involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (Tech, Product and QA) to plan, execute, and track projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. Manage project execution, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
Working closely with the Head of Product to shape the product backlog for upcoming sprints and working closely with the CTO for on-time project delivery.
Set the expectations for top management for software delivery and get ownership.
Deliver all the software projects on time with the pre-set, expected quality matrix.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprints, daily stand-ups, retrospectives). Guide the team in adopting and adhering to Agile principles and practices. Remove impediments and foster a collaborative environment.
Drive increases in automation and LEAN improvements.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders (product owners, engineers, management) to provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Manage expectations and ensure alignment on project goals.
Proactively identify and assess project risks. Develop and implement mitigation plans. Track and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Qashios delivery processes. Identify areas for optimization and implement best practices in project management and Agile methodologies.
Foster a strong collaborative environment within the tech team and across departments. Promote effective communication and knowledge sharing.
Guide the team in understanding and applying Agile principles and practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization within the team.
Ensure the team adheres to the Scrum framework and its processes. Help the team maintain focus on sprint goals and deliver value incrementally.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software development project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in implementing them in a software development environment.
Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.) and software development lifecycle processes.
Previous experience with managing a large team.
Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
