Line Of Service Overview

Our Deals practice helps clients create, capture, and deliver value through mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and strategic investments. We provide end-to-end advisory services, combining deep industry knowledge with technical expertise to support clients in achieving their growth and transformation objectives.

Business Unit Overview

The Deals Strategy & Operations (DSO) team delivers strategic, commercial, and operational insights to corporates, private equity firms, family offices, and government entities. We advise on investment and divestment decisions, evaluate business plans, and address critical operational and transformational challenges to help clients achieve sustainable outcomes.

How You’ll Contribute

As a Deals Strategy & Operations Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Structure and execute analysis to solve complex client problems using strategic frameworks
  • Conduct commercial due diligence, market entry strategies, feasibility studies, and portfolio development initiatives
  • Take ownership of workstream components and collaborate closely with team members to deliver insight-driven deliverables
  • Research, aggregate, and analyze data to provide actionable recommendations
  • Contribute to the development of business plans and strategic roadmaps for clients
  • Support internal business development activities, including proposals and pipeline development
  • Assist Managers and Senior Managers on engagements across key industry sectors
  • Apply digital and technology-enabled solutions to enhance delivery
  • Communicate confidently with senior clients and stakeholders
  • Navigate multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant consulting or professional services experience, ideally supporting M&A transactions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
  • Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L required; experience with 3-statement models is an advantage)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including building market models and conducting quantitative analysis
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience in strategic research, acquisitions, and business plan development
  • Familiarity with digital tools and technology-enabled solutions
  • Your flexibility to travel 40–60% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required. Where possible, we will take your preferences into account and strike a balance between meeting your career development/personal needs and those of the business and our clients
